Road Closure: Parsonage Lane, Publow

BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THTTC1948, PARSONAGE LANE, PUBLOW)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2019

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Parsonage Lane, Publow from a point outside Parsonage Farm for a distance of approximately 40 metres either side.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate repair works by Bristol Water PLC on 7thth May 2019 for a maximum period of 7 days. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for 4 days.

Parsonage Lane – Publow Lane – A37 New Road – A37 Pensford Hill – Parsonage Lane

Parish Council Minutes – 11th March 2019

MINUTES OF A PARISH COUNCIL MEETING OF PUBLOW WITH PENSFORD PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 11th MARCH 2019 AT MEMORIAL HALL PUBLOW LANE PENSFORD

Present: Chairman: Mrs J Stephenson Vice Chairman: Mr T Heaford
Mr J Kelly, Mrs J Gully, Mr J Kelly, Mrs T Jones, Mr Tony Jones, Mr S Grimes, Mr P Baxter.
There were six members of the public present.

1. Public Participation:

a) Mr S Harries – A37 Safety Works: Mr Harries did not attend the meeting.
Allotments: An allotment tenant attended the meeting seeking the Parish Councils Membership Number to the National Allotment Association. Clerk to provide this. Member of the Public reported that there is a boat and now a large shed on the allotment plot. Clerk explained the boat will be a planter eventually. The shed is not a concern.
