Monday 3rd November: “Whitaker’s War” – Garry Atterton will tell us the story of the Great War through postcards. A unique collection of 800 postcards, written by a father living in Burnley to his son who was serving in France and Belgium, gives a fascinating insight into life on the home front from 1914 to 1921.
