TO ALL PARISH COUNCILLORS:
You are summoned to attend a meeting of the Parish Council on Monday 9th September 2024 at 7pm in the Village Hall.

Public Participation – Members of Public are asked to inform the Clerk if you wish to attend. (15 minutes Maximum): Please note that prior to the official business of the meeting; members of the Parish are welcome to raise any Parish issues. Please inform the Clerk providing name, address and subject matter no later than 24 hrs prior to the meeting if you wish to arrange a speaking slot. Please keep your speech to a maximum of 3 minutes. Additionally, the applicant or their agent may verbally present planning applications. You are not guaranteed a slot if you do not book in advance. Please note the Parish Council cannot make a decision on items that are not on the agenda, but items may be put forward for the agenda for the next meeting.

a) Applications to Consult:
i) 24/02616/FUL: Birchwood Lodge, Wells Road, Pensford. Erection of single storey side extension to create entrance porch
ii) 24/03292/FUL. Pensford Post Office, Pensford Hill, Pensford: Proposed change of use of Pensford Post Office Stores into a self-contained ground floor apartment in tandem with the change of use of the nearby Miners Institute coffee shop.

55.5. Matters for Discussion:
a) To consider request to install Pump Track.
b) To identify jobs to be reported on Fix my street, or to be undertaken by the Village Caretaker.
c) To review the event management plan for Remembrance Day.
d) To approve expenditure for replacement defibrillators (part funded by the Community Trust).
e) To approve amendments to the privacy policy
f) To accept draft site surveys for the B&NES local Plan.
g) To agree in principle to meet with WERN to discuss a grant to carry out a housing needs survey.
h) To approve expenditure to fix water leak on the allotments
i) To approve expenditure for bin bags for waste bins
j) To consider request for further financial assistance towards the Clock tower.
