Bath & North East Somerset Council will be carrying out footway improvement works in High Street, Chew Magna for five weeks from Monday 28th July to Friday 29th August 2025.
High Street (B3130) in Chew Maga will be closed to all vehicles between its junctions with Harford Square and Battle Lane throughout this period.
Diversion routes through Chew Magna can be seen on one.network.
The council have planned the work to coincide with the school summer holidays to minimise disruption.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via a barriered walkway; cyclists will need to dismount. As works progress sections of footway will be reopened where possible.
The X91 Chew Valley to Bristol (Chew Valley Sprint) bus service will be unaffected.
The WESTlocal Route 99 will be affected, and diversions and disruptions can be seen on the Big Lemon website.
