Publow with Pensford Parish Council is committed to understanding the housing needs within our parish.
The Parish Council last conducted a detailed housing needs survey in 2011, since when there have been many changes affecting our community. Having a good knowledge of current and emerging levels of local housing need within the parish is vital to help councillors understand the necessity for future developments within our parish. Therefore in February 2026 the Parish Council conducted an up to date housing needs survey. This was designed to collect information from residents about the profile of our community, its current housing supply, types of people resident here, people wishing to move home in the near future and the nature of their housing needs.
Details of the survey were publicised on our Parish Council Noticeboards, website and social media. Parish councillors personally delivered a blank questionnaire form to all households within our parish with extra forms being made available from Pensford Post Office. Householders were asked to complete and return the survey forms via Pensford Post Office by 31st March 2026. Since then the Parish Council has analysed all the responses we received and has compiled a detailed report which is available to view here.
